About us
Surabhi is a qualified Occupational Therapist fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). With over 17 years of experience in the field, she has gained diverse experience and worked in various countries like India, Singapore, prior to commencing work in Australia in 2018.
Surabhi has experience working in educational settings and the community with children aged 0-18 with a range of mild to complex developmental, intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities.
She is specialised and has comprehensive experience in providing Sensory Integration therapy, neurodevelopmental therapy, handwriting interventions, feeding interventions for children with various diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delays, Learning disability, chromosomal disorders and Cerebral Palsy.
Surabhi started her private practice in 2021, services children and their families within Western Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, Victoria. Surabhi has two beautiful young children who keep her busy outside of work! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors with her kids and loves cooking.

Our Approach
Bridging Minds Therapy Services provides mobile Paediatric Occupational Therapy services in Western Melbourne and surrounding Suburbs, serving all ages from infants to teenagers.
We believe in providing professional, fun, innovative and creative therapy through a family-centred approach.

To reach child’s full potential we believe in closely working with key people in their life which includes : Parents , siblings, carers, teachers, instructors and other Allied health therapist.
Our Services

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists can help give your child the tools and strategies to improve their quality of life in areas of self-care skills, sensory-motor skills, leisure and play skills, and social skills.

Assessment
The therapists at Bridging Minds assess your child’s skills in order to determine the areas affecting their engagement, participation and performance in their occupations.
We offer a range of standardised and non-standardised assessments to fit your child’s needs. We can provide assessments within the home and school environments.
Based on assessment findings, functional therapeutic goals are set. We embrace family centred practice hence, giving you a chance to address any areas of concern and goals you may have with your therapist.

Intervention
Intervention is tailored to address your child’s goals and needs primarily through individual face to face sessions.
At Bridging Minds we also offer Tele Health Services as and when required. We provide hands-on treatment and education, with the goal of optimising your child’s function based on their individual strengths and needs.
Funding & Fees
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) self and plan managed participants
- Claims can be made from your private health insurance. Please check with your insurance provider for eligibility before making a claim
- Fees: as per NDIS guidelines – $193.99 per hour
